ReNu with MoistureLoc

ReNu with MoistureLoc users have legal rights.

On May 16, 2006, Bausch and Lomb Inc. officially removed ReNu with MoistureLoc Contact Solution from the market after health authorities linked an outbreak of rare fungal infections to the use of the contact lens solution.

ReNu with MoistureLoc is a solution used for storing, cleaning, and moisturizing soft contact lenses. ReNu was approved by the FDA (Federal Drug Administration) in 2004.

ReNu with MoistureLoc

Bausch & Lomb took action after the CDC (Center for Disease Control) reported an alarming number of cases of a usually rare fungal infection of the eye called Fusarium Keratitis, which can cause serious eye damage and blindness. The FDA began an investigation to see if Fusarium Keratitis is a ReNu with MoistureLoc side effect.

Symptoms of Fungal Keratitis include:
      • Eye pain/discomfort
      • Light hypersensitivity
      • Decrease in vision
      • Complete loss of vision
If you or a loved one wear contact lenses and suffered a fungal eye infection, your condition could be due to ReNu with MoistureLoc contact lens solution.
